Ande Jianqi’s holiday schedule for the Spring Festival is as follows:
From February 15 (the 28th day of the 12th lunar month) to February 23 (the 7th day of the 1st lunar month), there will be a 9-day holiday.

To ensure your equipment returns to peak performance promptly after the holiday, Ande Jianqi’s Technical Service Department has prepared the “Wire EDM Machine Shutdown Maintenance Guide” and the “Slow Wire EDM Machine Shutdown Maintenance Guide.” Please follow the corresponding procedures based on your equipment type.
I. Core Steps for Shutdown Maintenance of Wire EDM Machines
Before a power outage, please prioritize completing the following four tasks to ensure stable operations after the holiday:
1. Wire-feeding system maintenance
Remove the used wire electrode, clean the wire spool, guide wheels, and tensioning mechanism, inspect the conductive blocks for wear, replace or adjust them as necessary, and apply appropriate anti‑rust treatment.
2. Processing Area and Tank Cleaning
Thoroughly remove electro‑erosion debris and oil sludge from the worktable, spindle head, and fluid tank; after wiping the worktable surface clean, apply anti‑rust oil.
3. Lubrication of the Transmission System
Clean the guide rails and lead screws of all axes, apply lubricant evenly, and run the equipment through its full travel range 10–15 times to ensure thorough lubrication.
4. Environmental Safety Assurance
Electrical cabinet: Use an air gun or a brush to remove accumulated dust inside, and ensure the cabinet door is securely closed.
Rodent Control: Inspect the workshop environment and seal any openings to prevent rodents from gnawing on electrical wiring.
II. Core Steps for Shutdown Maintenance of Slow-Wire EDM Machines
Before power is shut off, please strictly complete the following five steps to ensure post‑holiday accuracy and reliability:
1. Water System and Filtration System Maintenance (Critical)
If the workshop temperature drops below 0°C during the holiday period, it is recommended to drain all water from the water tank, chiller, pumps, and all water lines to prevent freezing and pipe rupture.
2. Cleaning of the machining area and conductive devices
Clean the workbench, the diamond eye mask, and the oil sludge on the power board, and apply anti-rust treatment.
3. Transmission System Maintenance
Clean the guide rails and lead screws of all axes, apply lubricant evenly, and run the machine through its full travel range 10–15 times to ensure thorough lubrication.
4. Electrical Cabinets and Moisture-Proof Treatment
Thoroughly clean the interior of the electrical cabinet and the filter screens, ensuring a tight seal.
5. Environmental Safety Assurance
Be sure to implement effective rodent control measures in the workshop and inspect electrical wiring and piping to prevent animal gnawing from causing equipment malfunctions.
